The senses
Experience is at the heart of tomorrow’s world. We won’t consume to “have” any more, rather to “be”. We prefer to enjoy objects rather than own them. Increasingly accustomed to amazing experiences, people expect bigger and better emotions that stimulate all the senses; where they are in touch with their senses. However, at birth, we are not all equal in terms of senses.
The business must give consumers meaningful and emotional experiences so that they can forge a sustainable relationship with them. It’s not always enough to have a perception of what is felt naturally, so this needs to be enhanced by specially developed tools. It’s important to explore a combination that blends both technology and the body: technology for helping us to feel what our body can’t do naturally, and the body to amplify or promote awareness of our senses.
